It all started in high school... blah blah blah...
Yep, I too developed D&D-itis as a teen and I've never really gotten over it. Gotta say I'm pretty thankful for that to be honest.
Now days, as a married man, a parent, I'm lucky I can say I'd managed to find a woman who enjoys the ultimate fantasy roleplaying game (D&D that is, keep your minds out of the gutter you lot) almost as much as I do.
It'd been just over ten years since I left playing for whatever reasons there were at the time. In the interim though I'd been collecting and painting models with the intent to one day play again, this time using miniatures that was denied to me as a teen (out of my price tag back then).
Recently I'd been talking more and more about playing again when my wife pretty much sat me down and said she'd divorce me if we didn't... OK so that a fairly titan sized exaggeration, but the gist of it is that she was keen to get back to the table too!
And get back to the table we have.
This blog will be me relating the tales of our games, a few photo's here and there, perhaps even some "DM's thoughts" if I think I've come up with anything remotely interesting.
